Our Story

We started Swan in Lakeland in 2022 because the old way wasn't working. Today we're headquartered in Clermont, Florida — still serving our local community, now also serving families across all 50 states. The industry treats people like a transaction. We treat them like neighbors. Same standard for everyone — with a special place in our hearts for the people who serve.

Before we recommend anything, we ask for your most recent Explanation of Benefits and a short note about the doctors and prescriptions that matter to you. Three minutes on your side. It saves us both an hour of guessing — and it changes everything.

We build your comparison sheet

Every plan you qualify for — Marketplace, private, group, Medicare — laid out side by side on one page. Real network coverage for the doctors you actually see. Real formulary coverage for the medications you actually take. Honest out-of-pocket projections — not marketing premiums.

An 18-minute conversation

In person at our Clermont office, by phone, or by video — your call. We walk you through the comparison. We give you our recommendation and the reasoning behind it. We answer every question. Then you make the final call.

We stay your advisor

Claim denied? Doctor leaves network? Premium hike at renewal? You call our office — the same office that placed your coverage. We check in at month six. We review at every renewal. The relationship doesn't end at enrollment. It starts there.

Why Swan

Six things we do differently — on purpose.

Every brokerage says they put clients first. We can only tell you the specific things we actually do — in writing, in specifics, in the daily mechanics of how a Swan client experiences us.

We read your last EOB first.

Most brokers recommend plans after a five-minute call and a quote engine. We start with what your current coverage actually paid, denied, and cost you. The right plan reveals itself when you start there.

No. 02

We verify your doctors against the plan.

"In-network" is one of the most frequently incorrect labels in American healthcare. Before we recommend anything, we confirm your specific providers and prescriptions are actually covered.

No. 03

We fight your claims when they get denied.

Roughly one in eight claims gets denied on first pass. Most clients give up — the appeals process is intentionally exhausting. We handle the appeal. We work the carrier relationships. We go to the mat when we should.

No. 04

We call you in May to ask how it's going.

Six months after enrollment, every Swan client gets a call from the advisor who placed them. Not marketing. Not an upsell. If something isn't working, there's still time to fix it.

No. 05

We refuse the easy sale.

When sticking with your current plan is right, we say so. When term is the answer and not whole life, we recommend term. When the Marketplace beats the private alternative, we tell you. Our job is to advise — not to sell.
